I've been using this toner daily for over a month now and it's so gentle and hydrating. It's on the watery end of toners in terms of consistency. It doesn't sting or cause any irritation at all, and it also doesn't leave my skin feeling toght or dry at all either, even if I don't get around to other products for a while after using it. I find it to be soothing and nicely hydrating for my skin. It does an okay job of reducing redness, with noticeable results over a few days, but really no calming product is going to work miracles. It's a very, very nice toner that stand out over many others I've tried for being so light and benign.

I love watery toners. They are a great after cleansing to add some lightweight hydration to skin. They are also really useful to mix in with oily products to aid in absorption. They can even be quite calming and soothing. I use them a lot and quite generously! I found this one to be really lightweight, and it absorbed quickly and did add some hydration to my skin. That alone can be soothing. I also love that it is essentially fragrance free (there is a very faint scent from the ingredients that fades fast). My main complaint about this toner: where is the mugwort? This has two forms of Artemisia. Usually A. vulgaris is referred to as mugwort, but sometimes A. capillaris is also called mugwort (since they are in the same genus). Because this brand is actually transparent with concentrations on their box, which I do appreciate, we can see the total amount of Artemisia is a whopping 22ppm or 0.0022%. If you think that doesn't sound like much, you are correct. If it were named Super Calming Toner or something without mugwort, I'd be OK with the product, but I really feel like highlighting the meager concentration of mugwort isn't accurate. The beneficial effects are likely from a reasonable concentrations of moisturizers/humectants/antioxidants (like hydroxyacetophenone, which it has more of than the preservative present). Ingredients (since currently the order is a bit different on my box vs product info; I added percent info but ppm info is on the box): Water, Butylene Glycol, Dipropylene Glycol, Betaine, Propanediol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Sodium Citrate, Glycerin, Hydroxyacetophenone, Glycereth-25 PCA Isostearate, Diethoxyethyl Succinate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hydrolyzed Gardenia Florida Extract, Hydrolyzed Malt Extract, Citric Acid, Disodium EDTA, Hydrolyzed Viola Tricolor Extract, Xanthan Gum, Hyaluronic Acid, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, Artemisia Capillaris Extract (20ppm; 0.002%), Centella Asiatica Extract (2.1ppm; 0.00021%), Artemisia Vulgaris Extract (2ppm; 0.0002%), Houttuynia Cordata Extract (2ppm; 0.0002%), Bifida Ferment Lysate (1ppm; 0.0001%), Lactobacillus Ferment Lysate (1ppm; 0.0001%), Lactococcus Ferment Lysate (1ppm; 0.0001%)

Very lightweight toner, feels watery when first put in my hand, however, after applying to the skin, it feels very smooth, and definitely better than water to moisturize the skin and keep skin hydrated. My wife has been trying this on daily basis for almost a month now, she's pretty satisfied with the result it provides. She normally doesn't like to spend time putting up makeups unless for certain events, and she said just putting this toner on not only help keeping her skin moisturized, but also help keeping her skin looks better even without makeups. No side effects or irritation for her, and she definitely like this made with natural ingredients and lightweight!

I've been using this to calm an irritated part of my face and I think it's helping, or at least it's not hurting! I use this, gently, on a wipe after cleaning my face and before applying anything else.

I am giving this three stars because it doesnt seem to be hurting my skin in any way but it isnt really helping it either. Its basically not doing anything. I have sensitive, combination skin and was hoping this would help to calm some red bumps I get on my face. But it hasnt helped. May just not work for my skin.
