I recently ordered and setup the charging cord, and while I was nervous considering some of the reviews, its charging my Ring Stickup Cam keeping the battery at 100% over the last 72 hours. Two things: 1. You have to really push the charger pin in with force to hear a click, which is when it locks. One way to tell is it won't come out easily (I had to bring in the tools). Maybe it was clearances on my ring/charger head or it is designed that way for waterproofing. But it needs to be looked at incase it needs to be unplugged for xyz reasons. 2. There is no real waterproofing at the charger pin/ring joint, perhaps a designed o-ring or silicon cover will help keep water out for devices out in the wet (like ours in PNW).

Rated for outdoor use, good cord length, works well, and it stands up to rain and wind. It had a slight amount of excess cord (good) that I used the twist tie to secure. The fasteners were useful in securing the cord to the wood trim.

I don't have to charge the battery. Consistent power!!!

I'm updating my review because the company reached out to me and sent a replacement adapter - but there is a surprise ending. Important to note that I didn't ask for the replacement, nor was I asked to amend my review. This was proactive customer service. The irony is that having plugged in the second adapter, the camera still gave a 'no power' code. Bottom line is the camera software is faulty. I did some internet research and found this is a common problem. So thank you to OLAIKE for taking care of a customer. [Original review follows] First to be fair, I'm not positive my issue is from this product. My camera worked great and showed it was running on AC power for about a week after I connected it. Then it said it was no longer getting power. I double checked all connections, confirmed that my outlet was powered,brought my outdoor camera inside and re ran the power adapter from a different circuit- but still no power to the camera. So 3 options, it's either the transformer, the cable or the camera. The camera is new so seems least likely, but without buying a new cable and adapter (or testing with a voltage meter which i don't own) I have no easy way to know where the problem lies.
