I bought this to hold a unique item that I wanted to be able to transport, and it's worked perfectly for me. Can't comment on its intended use, but it functions as described. Closes tight enough to be secure, but opens reasonably easily when needed

Am using three of these - 251, 253, and 304, for my Olympus micro 4/3rds 14 - 42, 40-150, and 75-300 lenses respectively. The lenses all fit well into the pouches - circumferentially they are snug but you don't have to force the lenses into the pouches. Vertically they are all pretty close and the caps fold over easily to protect the lenses on all sides. These are good for what I am using them for - to keep the lenses from bouncing hard together and getting scratched up inside my camera bag. That is pretty much what they are designed for. They aren't going to do a lot if you drop a lens onto the concrete. Get a pouch with some structure to it if that's what you want to use them for. The only minor issue is that the caps don't really adjust precisely to the length of the lens since they are attached to the body of the pouch at a single point and fold over rather than screw down. But that's the way they are designed and it's clear from the pictures in the description that's the way they're going to work. In any case, they stay on and pad you lens a bit. I'm not a professional photographer by any means - I just like to have reasonable quality equipment that takes better pictures than most cell phones. I also like it to last - I still have my original OM-1 from the 1970s and it's doing fine when I want to shoot on film. These pouches will help me achieve that. Good quality for the price.

I wanted a neoprene or soft case with a lid for my lenses. In my past the lens came with a hard shell case when you bought them. Today camera lens come sometimes with a soft fabric cover case. It really does not provide the protection I want for my very expensive lens. I really like OP/TECH pouchs, I have bought two (2) of them and I would like it if they made all kind of shapes and sizes for various other lens. Very good quality and I live the fold over pouch lid. They fit snug around my lens and provide that protection I want.

I got the 354. This is the 2nd biggest one you can get. The 356 is 1.5" longer, same diameter. I was going to put a fisheye lens in it but I ended up putting my Sony FE 16-35mm f4 in it with the lens hood reversed!! Unbelievable.. It's real tight and comfy in there and protected by the urethane. Now I need to get a smaller one for my fisheye. Bottomline, these are well priced for what's out there and they do a good job at protecting your gear. Highly recommended!!
