With the Pocket 2, I used the cell phone holder fairly often. With the Pocket, though, with its larger display, better positioned controls and somewhat larger size, the need for a cell phone holder has been reduced, but not eliminated. This cell phone holder fits the Pocket 3 well and fully supports the handle physically. It is secured with a single latch. The cell hone holder itself is sturdy and well padded. It rotates somewhat clumsily to permit landscape or portrait orientation. A unique feature of this holder is that it is hinged and opens to reveal a compartment that will hold two microSD cards, six filters and the wide angle lens adapter. I havent formed an opinion yet as to how useful this is. If you have a table or stable flat surface to work on, it does offer the convenience of having your filters immediately available. Without a table, Im in trouble, trying to get the right filter out and putting filters back in the compartment. Plus Im not using the cell phone holder all the time which means a trip to the camera bag to get an ND filter or the wide angle adapter. Like I said, I havent really made up my mind on the usefulness of this feature. Theres also a cold shoe for mounting a light or mic. As a cell phone holder, though, giving you the advantages of a better grip and larger display, it is an excellent accessory and, in my opinion, well worth having. Jerry
The media could not be loaded. So I couldnt get the door to open. It felt like if I tried harder I was going to snap off the door from the holder. My husband also couldnt. I tried again and broke my nail. I thought this one was defective so I ordered a replacement. The replacement is exactly the same. Same problem, I dont want to feel like Im almost going to snap this thing in half every time to open it. I feel that eventually it will break. Sucks cuz I thought this was a great idea but it didnt work out for me. Returning both. (I superglued my nail tip back when I took the video of the replacement)
The media could not be loaded. I like the storage compartment that holds ND filters and Micro SD cards.
