I actually want to dock half a star off of the Optical Trident Pliers for the following reason: The middle nylon roller has a recessed area, and I didn't realize the implications of this until I regretfully marred my plastic frame bridge with ridges (despite using a press cloth underneath the plier). Thankfully, this package includes backup rollers, and I easily switched the recessed roller with one of the two smoother rollers. I do think this is a high quality, professional tool and plan to buy more from LEONTOOL again.

I have LOTS of pliers and cutters. I was looking for nylon jawed pliers for eyeglasses and checked out jeweler's pliers with nylon jaws and these nylon jaw pliers. The jeweler's pliers were more money. That doesn't matter to me, I want well-made pliers (I am a master metalsmith of 50 yrs). I thought I'd give this seller a try with the LEONTOOL pliers. I got the 6" half round w/nylon jaws, 6" optical pliers w/nylon jaws and 6" glasses frame clamp adjusting pliers. The price was quite reasonable. But when I got them in hand, I have to say I was VERY surprised with the quality of the manufacturing and finish. Better than the jewelers' similar pliers. They are a bit big for jewelers Pliers, but still believe me, the manufacturing quality and finish of these pliers is tops.

I was tired of taking my glasses to an optician for adjustments whenever I'd fall asleep in them, so I finally bought a legitimate set of eyeglass pliers for myself. This is a high-quality tool at a fair price and it's already saved me a few trips to have adjustments made.
