These strips worked as expected. I already knew my pool water was too hard, and these strips verified that. I appreciate the 2fer on each strip, for validation of accurate results, and I appreciate that these are packaged in sets of 50, to keep them fresher and uncontaminated longer. They are easy to use and read, just like any other test strip. I also checked my indoor water (softened) with them and got the same results as my technician tested, so Id say theyre accurate. All at a great price.

This water hardness test kit comes with 200 test strips with double-check and a sample cup. I tested the water from our kitchen faucet and the results show very soft water. This is accurate because we have a water softener, so the quality appears excellent. I will take this test kit to our lake house and ranch and check the water there. We're trying to decide if we need a water softener at those houses. Overall, I am very satisfied with this water hardness test kit. I recommend it.

I liked the double pad strip redundancy. For the test to be accurate, both test strip must end up the same color as each other. If they agree, match the color/ shade with the chart to determine water hardness. The test is quick and easy. The tube holding the strips is easily opened with one hand and seals well. I also liked that the sets are packed in 4 sets of 50 keeping them fresh. The colors and graphics on the storage tube are bright and clear and the label is waterproof. Effective and priced right.

The air tight tube has 50 strips, then there are three sealed packages with an additional 50 in each. It isnt super specific (my groundwater is of the chart and Ive had it professionally tested), but it easily points you in the right direction. In my photo, on the right, is groundwater. I already knew it was very hard. In the middle is the water after iron filtration, so I would expect some of the hardness was removed. On the left shows post-softener, so these strips are an easy and quick way to ensure everything is functioning properly. I wish zero was a lighter green color on the bottle, but thats a very tiny gripe for how easy these are to use.
