I specially finished a roll of XFasten Teflon tape before reviewing it. It meets my standards overall. There is no water seepage when it is wrapped. The quality is very stable. XFasten Teflon tape is easy to use. It comes in a large roll and 30 packs. I really like it and support it. The quality is very good. It is exactly the same as the description in the advertisement. I am very satisfied. I really like it. It completely exceeded my expectations. The width of 1/2 inch is just right. The thickness is thicker than ordinary raw tape. The thickness and size are OK. It doesn't feel thin. It is generally thick and fluffy, with good toughness. It is easier to use than ordinary raw tape. The quality is medium.

I've used teflon tape that is unusually thick, what I would call a normal thickness, and tape like these rolls, unusually thin. The thin stuff usually grabs the threads a bit better making installation a bit easier. But it also means you need to wrap the pipe a few extra times. The good thing is there's lots of tape so putting a few extra inches per pipe isn't going to be a big issue. The tape is thin enough so you can almost see through it. It's similar to the rolls that come with Chinese made fixtures, just a ot more on the roll though. I usually use both dope and tape so leaks are never an issue for me.

I tend to use a lot of teflon tape - largely for off-label uses, maybe. Got a leaky squirt bottle? Teflon tape to the rescue! Want to seal up a pill bottle so the contents aren't exposed to air? Teflon tape will do the job. Need to lubricate some sticky screw threads? Teflon tape is slick and prevents jamming. Problem is, since I tend to use it in oddball locations, I never remember where I left the tape after last usage. Now I can keep a roll everywhere. Kitchen, workshop, bathroom, even my desk drawer at work. This tape is made by the same folks (XFasten) that make my favorite double-sided tape for woodworking and the brand comes through again. It's on the thinner side so you may need an extra wrap or four, but the tape is just stretchy enough, nice and slick, and breaks easily when you've done your wrapping. Great find!
