Impressed with the quality for the price.

This is a nice penwhen it works. The red and the pencil tip seem to work flawlessly, the black tip however never wants to be selected anymore. It worked well for the first few days and then went down hill from there. Writing quality is nice, its just frustrating knowing that when I reach for my pen, theres a great chance of it not working. This is my 2nd pen as I had to replace the first one due to the threading on the first pen being worn down and not holding the body together.

I had one similar for 30+ years. This comes with black, blue, red ink and pencil. If using one color a lot; I suggest getting refills available on ZeeBooth. Love it. Its easy to use.

Overall, I would say this multifunction pen is meh. I have owned multifunction pens with this exact design in the past, so I have something to compare it to. I have owned a Staedtler and another generic copy of this pen. It looks fine. It has good weight. It is slim and not bulky like some other multifunction pens. The issues I have found so far. First, it often jams especially when you are trying to access the mechanical pencil. You have to fiddle with it, try another option, click that out, then click it back then try the pencil again. After some fussing, it will eventually come out. Second, the pencil lead that comes with this pen is very brittle and breaks while you are writing. The lead often breaks inside the shaft without dropping or knocking the pen around. Sometimes the ink cartridges come loose and slip out of the pen. If you are lucky, you see this when it happens. If not, you have to buy a refill. I think this may be the cause of some of the jamming. I really like the ink in the pens. It is smooth and glides on the page. I like the feel of it when I write. The Staedtler was by far the best in terms of quality. Replace the lead with higher quality and no problem. I am not sure how to resolve the ink cartridges coming loose. Otherwise, it seems like an okay purchase.

This is a decent combo pen with three pen colors, a pencil, and an eraser on board. It functions as described; however, it's a little on the light side and rattles a bit. It's sleek and attractive, but could be a bit sturdier. For the money, it's a good buy and includes extra lead and one refill of each pen color.
