Great quality! No smell, lies flat and stays flat.

First of all, for those like me who impulse buy without checking sizes and what not - this mat comes in multiple sizes. Now that I know that, I need to buy a bigger one for my desk! Second of all, I bought this because I thought it would spruce up the look of my old desk in my home office. I didn't think it would have much function to it. BUT BEHOLD, it is more than just a nice looking desk pad! I spilled an entire cup of coffee on it today and nothing - I mean NOTHING - under the pad got wet. The coffee just...went around the pad. If you are accident prone like me and tend to spill, that alone is worth the purchase!
