This thing is awesome. Recently used it when doing an 8lb pork butt on the Traeger. I have a Pro 575, so it doesnt have the Super Smoke feature. The smoke tube made a massive difference, it put out a TON of smoke. Filled it with Traeger pellets, lasted two hours at a time before I had to refill and reignite it. Couldnt recommend this highly enough.

first use was with pork tenderloin smoked for 5 hours with just 1 fill of the smoke tube. Was perfect amount of time to add the smoke flavor. Baked in oven till proper temp for pork tenderloin. was a hit with everybody that tried it. Super easy and fit well in standard charcoal BBQ. Only downside is the BBQ does not get as hot as a little chief smoker

I bought this Smoker Tube after finding out about them online. I was tired of needing to add wood chips every 15 minutes to my Masterbuilt Electric Smoker to maintain ample smoke. With this Smoker Tube, I get continuous smoke for at least 5 hours without doing anything to it once I light it. There are many ways to light it, at first I was soaking some pellets in rubbing alcohol, then putting it in the end of the tube and lighting it. That seems to work fine, you just have to make sure it burns for quite a while before you either blow it out or it goes out on it's own. The recommended way is with a DIY type blowtorch. I have even seen guys using a heat gun, but I couldn't find mine so I haven't tried that yet. What was very simple, and seemed to work the best is removing a grate from my gas grill and laying the end of the loaded tube directly on the lit burner. Within a few minutes it was burning great and I just turned off the grill and let it burn until it went out on it's own and it was smoking like crazy! Experiment until you find out what works best for you and you won't be disappointed. A lot of guys use these in their pellet grills to get more smoke. I'm sure it would also work well in a gas grill if you wanted to add a smoky flavor.
