These are the collars we always buy for our puppies to go home with. We raise Weimaraners and although they are close to the end size wise, they work well for weeks 6-10 or even longer depending on size of the puppy. They are too big for our newborns-3/4 weeks, but great when they're a little older. Especially if you're working on leash training. Obviously they are not snap aways, so you would need to make sure they can't get stuck on anything. But with all our puppies looking about the same, we have to have multiple colors.
Love the width of these. My kennel puppies get to wrestling & they don't pull off & get chewed up. This is the only brand I will buy.

We breed golden retriever puppies and purchased 6 of these sets (thats a total of 120 collars) to use as temporary collars for our pups and were satisfied with every single collar. Quality and durability are great. Wed start using these collars when pups were about 5-6 weeks old and the collars are big enough to last a few more weeks before pups outgrow them (maybe until theyre 10-12 weeks, give or take). Theyre excellent collars and will have some slight fraying over time due to wear but can be easily trimmed with some scissors. The last time I purchased these was Dec 2020 and they were only $19.99 for the set of 20 and now theyve gone up $10. And unfortunately, due to this high increase, I will no longer be buying these for budget reasons. I have switched to another brand that is just as functional. I would buy again if the price would return to the original price. If you can afford the price, buy these.
I breed Mini and Standard size Australian Labradoodles and I've used these on my standard 10-12 lb - 8 wk old puppies and they fit them fine but gotta be adjusted out to the largest measurement which is 11.5 inches. I don't usually put them on until the day they go home or for pictures anyway because why? I can tell them apart myself and they just get dirty, pulled and chewed on by eachother etc. But I was pleased with the quality and the price!! I've also used the little velcro whelping colors and I like these so much better for the standard and mini size puppies and they're actually nice enough to send them home with as an actual collar not just a "whelping collar" to identify them with. They won't fit standard size puppies long so I also send them home with a leash and martingale collar in their puppy packs for training purposes. But I give these collars an A+ which they had bigger sizes and came out years ago! These are fairly new!
