Not even sure how it chipped. Never had a dog bowl chip like this. We dont even know how it chipped, no one dropped it or banged it, just all of a sudden it had a chip. Really delicate stay away

These ceramic bowls are very poorly finished. Color showing through the white and not a smooth finish. For 7.99 each a ripoff. Save your money

Absolutely horrible. Took a chance that the other people complaining about how quickly these chipped were just suffering carbon based errors, and that I wouldn't have these problems, I've had no issues with our other ceramic cat dishes... To which I can only offer my most sincere apologies to the other reviewers. These are trash. The first one managed to chip itself in the dishwasher - it was the only item on its entire shelf, and it still managed to... chip in hot water? The second one, my cat appears to have chipped with her tooth. These are astonishingly badly made. We would have returned them but we both got sick at the end of the return window, and that combination of waiting for different dishes to arrive (so the cats could still eat) and our being unhealthy just meant these didn't get returned and we are out the money. Don't assume the other users are the reasons these chip. They're not. These would be more sturdy if they were made of glass. AVOID.

Chipped in many places on rim the first time we washed it. Paint is cheap. You can see it best on the bottom of the photo, but it's all along the rim. It's sharp too, which is how I noticed it. Happened literally the first time we used it, and it's gotten worse each night we feed her and wash it again, even hand-washing after thinking the dishwasher was too harsh even though it says "dishwasher safe".
