Its a bit thin, but it is good enough because now I have a bowl that wont break! It is also the tilt or not tilt if you want it for water.

Bowls slide and rotate right to lock. Easy to clean morning and night with a simple wipe. Leftover food just slides right off. Really please with these.. The base is hollow plastic. Thats the only issue.

The item is pretty easy to clean. Make sure you clean it when you first get it because youll see the water is almost black from the metal. The pads on the bottom dont really do anything other than illuminate the sound of you setting it down, it does not prevent sliding. I have a cat and a dog and I have to put the cat food up so the dog doesnt eat it. But because it doesnt stay in one spot, it is often on the floor spilled everywhere. If thats not a concern for you, its a decent item.
