Coghlan's 703 Tent Repair Kit...

Our screened in canopy had a tear in it from being tossed over in a wind storm. This patch kit worked great to fix it. The patch held and was easy to put on. We put the canvas between 2 heavy books over night to hold the seal, then let it dry for a few hours the next day without the pressure of the books on it. It dried perfectly. We sprayed a water replant sealer on after, it's now as good as new. An inexpensive, quick repair for an unexpected tear.

This is NOT the color you will receive. We have a tan canvas & received A grey kit. I will still use it, but I don't like the false advertising. I'll update once I've used the kit.

I ordered this product to fix a canvas dog bed. My dog continually scratches in the same sput when she beds down until it wore through. This worked great for what I needed but was a little messier than expected. Once cured and dried it was fine, butt he application was a bit messier than expected.

This looks like a really good kit even though I will never use it. There is no description of what color the kit is so I kind of assumed it would be the color in the photo. I was expecting tan canvas patches with black screen patches, what I received was grey canvas with white-ish screen, doesnt even match close what I need or thought I was getting.

First off, make sure you are needing a repair kit for a CANVAS tent. Most modern tents are made from rip-stop nylon, and this kit wont work! I have a canvas expedition tent, and this is exactly what i was looking for! Basic, simple patch pieces, heavy duty needle, thread, and cement. Havent had to use the cement so cant say how well it works, but for the price, cant beat it!
