Four stars only because it has not been adequately tested. Purchased as "off to college" gifts remembering my own during college. Knife looks to have a decent cutting edge and all utensils have a nice soft metal sheen. Have some concern about the silicone case. Must remember to stack utensils as they were originally packaged to insert into case more easily. Am hoping case will not stretch or tear tho I think silicone is strong. Anyway my grandchildren were fascinated and delighted.

This flatware set appears to be really high quality. I washed them in the dishwasher upon arrival and they held up perfectly (Id expect nothing less for stainless steel). The silicone storage case is handy. I was hoping to use these for backpacking, however they are quite heavy so that is not realistic. Now I keep them in the office for my lunches.
