SZCO Supplies Small Patch Knife...

I would have sent this knife back except for two things. One, it was only $7, and two, it has a beautiful piece of burl walnut on one of the handles. However, the handles are rough and not shaped well. After about and hour of careful sanding it's actually an attractive knife. The lacing on the sheath is crap, so I replaced it with good leather. The choice is yours.

Doesnt keep a good edge but Ive had a lot of them and they hold up good. Will buy more as I lose them.

This is a nice little novelty knife, it's small, and comes with a sheath, with decorative, and useless beads which I cut off immediately. I can see it used around camp, maybe with some food prep, but that's about all it would be good for. Might be a nice "cute" knife for the wife or girlfriend to wear, for camp or self defense.....it has a very extreme point to the blade. Was not really all that sharp out of the box, so I had to spend some serious time with my Japanese whetstones to put a scary sharp edge on it. Once sharpened it holds the edge reasonably well. All in all, it's a nice addition to my knife collection, but for me, that's about it. If you're looking for a very small knife to do small, light EDC tasks, or if you have a revolutionary war era musket, that you need to cut patches for, this knife is for you, otherwise, you might want to spend your $$$ on another knife. (BTW, it is well made, and made from quality materials, real nice wood handles, and a relatively thick blade, a little under, 3 mm, SS.)
