Let me start by saying that this is an absolutely brilliant concept. The puzzle pieces are cube shaped. Flipping a cube to any one of the six different sides will give you a piece of one of six different puzzles. I tried it in my 2.5- 3 year old classroom the past two days. It was fun to watch the children try to figure out how to put together the different animal puzzles. it kept a few of them entertained for a bit. I would give this puzzle much higher marks if it was larger. It is so small!

These block puzzles are perfect for little hands. My kids and I love doing puzzles, and this is a nice block set for younger kids because you don't have to worry about little pieces.

Got this set of toys because it's very similar to one of my favorite set of puzzle blocks when I was a child, only the pictures are different - these have animal pictures and they are so cute and as puzzles go relatively easy so good for little kids. The blocks are painted and well made with no sharp or scratchy edges so should be safe for 1-2+ years old kids. Size is true as shown on the product page and are just right for that age group. The set comes with a little soft padded seemingly indestructible booklet showing what the animals should look like when the blocks are correctly put together as well as a cloth bag to hold the blocks. The custom packaging is suitable for giving as gifts.

My 4 year old loves it! It says ages 1 and up on the box, but your child needs to be able to recognize the pieces of the photo because there's a different animal piece of every side of the cube. It takes some critical thinking skills to figure out - inwould say great for age 3-4+
