My nephew and I decided to do this puzzle just after the 4th of July, because that seemed fitting. At 200 pieces, we were quite cocky on tackling this. It is a beautiful puzzle, with nice, simple box and the lid even has little risers to it can be propped upright to see the picture. The foldout picture to follow even had a backside, to see the individual shapes of pieces, as these pieces have curly-Qs and shapes to them (the bald eagle puzzle - surprise! - had a lot of bird cutouts). Turns out this gorgeous, beautiful, want-to-glue-it-together-and-hang-on-the-wall puzzle...contains evil. And that evil is, it is so hard to start this puzzle. Finding an "edge" is hard with each shape not like another and no real straight edges because this one had a round frame. I thought I could orient around the words but no, you can't read a single letter. Suddenly, 200 pieces was too much. I'd never take on 500 pieces. That way would be madness. I'm usually quite good with piece and color recognition but I did not like this puzzle at all until we were 3/4 the way through it. However, all that to say, it is very beautiful and would 10/10 gift this to help spread the hair-pulling frustration/enjoyment this challenge engenders. This will give your puzzle-doers a nice challenge to keep them sharp.

Like most modern wooden puzzles, this one is exceptionally fabricated. Clean cuts, well fitting, bright colors, and lots of interesting shapes. I've done over 15 of this type in the last year, and have come to the realization that the packaging is what separates most 5 star puzzles from a 4 star. This is a fun puzzle, but the minor irritations are: 1. The pieces are completely loose in the box. They are not bagged, nor is a bag included. 2. The included "poster picture" is less than half the size of the finished product. 3. The product page says it is perfect for mounting, but does not included the backing sheet. 4. There is no listing on or in the box of how or who to contact for missing or damaged pieces. Return to ZeeBooth would be your only option. For such a large puzzle of this type the price is very reasonable, so if those minor irritations do not bother you, it would be a great purchase.

The first thing that impressed me was how nice the box is that holds the pieces. If you wished, you could take it totally apart and then reassemble it. The puzzle pieces are thick and cut in very unique shapes. In the photo of some of them, you can see the shapes, and on those showing the reverse side of the pieces you can see some lines. These lines form some hidden shapes on the back of the puzzle. There is a paper included showing what these shapes are. In addition to the puzzle pieces, there are also 2 pieces which can be used as a base to display the finished puzzle. If you are a serious puzzler, you should be very pleased with this one.

Like the bright colors and well-fitting pieces. I enjoy doing these size puzzles in between larger (500-1000 pc) ones. Have adjusted to feel of wooden puzzles and how they connect. These pieces fit better than some of those type. Wish comparison sheet was larger....is about 1/2 size of completed puzzle. But pleased overall.

Nice photo inside box and on back of photo shows all the pieces put together if you need help. Nicely printed. Im a dog lover and this is right up my alley ! If I dont like the image I wont do the puzzle. This image is adorable. Pieces fit nicely but I have to be careful not to bump it as another piece may disconnect. I really enjoy this puzzle.
