OK... I like them but haven't found their exact niche yet. They work well on dishes but aren't really heavy-duty enough for cast iron skillets. And I'm nervous about using them on good non-stick pans. So where does that leave you with the rags? I use them mostly on carbon steel pans, and for this use they work well. The question becomes do you really want to have a limited use dish rag? Well, they do take heavy scraps off of dinner plates and pasta bowls; maybe that's their intended purpose. And hard scrubbing with them takes most of the cooked-on stuff out of cast iron skillets but not all of it. They just don't seem to be aggressive enough for the real heavy stuff. But give them a try.. your mileage may vary. The price is right.

I bought these as an option to try with cast iron (both enameled and raw). They seem soft enough to scrub a seasoned pan with and doesn't feel like I'm removing any of the polymer layer. That is really hard to find. They're billed as non-scratch but I'm still a little hesitant to use them on delicate items. Nothing really about the item, just a me thing. Maybe I'll get brave and scrub a wine glass with it just to see.

At a dollar a cloth I was very happy I ordered these. They are surprisingly strong yet soft at the same time - I really struggle with my sponge scourer to get that ring around the hot plate on my glass top stove .. I was really thrilled with how easily and quickly this took the gunk off - and without scratching ! Excellent on flatware and pots LOL i just did a sink full of dishes and pots!!
