I recently got my hands on the 12 PCS Aesthetic Highlighters and Gel Pens set, and I've been absolutely loving it! The highlighters glide on the page with such ease, and not a single drop of ink dares to seep through to the other side. It's like they know just how precious my notes and books are to me. And the gel pens? They're a lefty's dream come true no smudges, just pure, crisp lines every time. The chisel tips are the real MVPs, though, giving me the freedom to switch between bold and fine lines on a whim. This set isn't just a bunch of pens to me; it's the perfect sidekick for my journaling adventures, adding that pop of color and reliability I crave. Definitely a keeper in my stationery stash!

These pens and highlighters are ok quality for the price, but are a bit misleading. The pens, I assumed were going to be colored gel pens matching the colors of the highlighters (they are not) -also partly my fault for not reading the description all the way. But also, who describes something as "gel pens" and has them color coordinated, only to have them be plain black pens? They are *not* color gel pens. They are standard 0.5 black pens. The quality of both the pens in highlighters are simply ok. When they work they are nice, but they do tend to skip when writing with the pens and the highlighters feel like they are half way dried out on some of them. The pens that do work, work great. Would have been better had they actually been color and not just black.

This marker and pen kit comes with 6 chisel tip markers and 6 fine-point ink pens. If you've ever used Pilot Precise, the ink pens are the same style as that. All 6 of them are black ink. The line size is 0.5mm. Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that both the marker and pen are waterproof once dry. That means you could ink a drawing with the black pen, let it dry, and then color it with the markers without anything smearing. I really like the color scheme provided. It's mute blush tones. I think you could make something really lovely with this set. I'm not sure why you would need six 0.5mm pens though! Maybe two for you and the other three can be gifts for friends. The tips are wax-sealed when you first open the box, so I imagine they'd dry out over time with the seals off. I would suggest just using one at a time in that case. Finally, the only CON I guess is the box these come in. Maybe you don't care about this, but the box isn't very reusable, I don't think. It really relies on the paper structures inside for the pens and markers to stay upright, and that's almost certainly going to get damaged. But if you're planning to toss the box anyway, I guess it doesn't matter.
