Well made but not durable

They are good and do make a difference, but you have to use a lot of them and they don't last very long. There are 120 in each pack, so that helps make up for it, but you still have to light each of them up and replace them during your outdoor time. If you are only outdoor for a short period of time and not moving around a bunch, these are fine. But if you are hosting a party, these will not last very long. You'll find yourself running around to replace them instead of enjoying your company.

Better than the candles

These aren't perfect but work better than the candles. I think it's just the smoke itself that helps deter some of the mosquitos and other bugs away.

Four was enough to create a barrier

I lit 4 of these and spaced them around the seating area and they worked quite well. No buzzing insects to annoy us while they burned. My only complaint (and it's a small one) is that they only last about 20 minutes so I'll go through this pack of 120 fairly quickly if I'm sitting outside for any length of time.

Works, but use generously

Mosquitoes absolutely feast on me, and given how wet this summer has been in the Midwest, they are abundant. These sticks are definitely a deterrent and seem to work well, given you use them liberally. There are 120 in a box, and they are inexpensive, so do yourselves a favor and place several strategically around the areas you want to protect.

Simply put, THEY WORK!

Before these I would use mosquito coils. They never really worked. But these incenses are no joke. They burn fast but they are 100% doing the job. I've seen mosquitos falls from the air after lighting one of these. It doesn't smell refreshing. It smells like a summer night to me. It's not a terrible smell but it's not totally refreshing either. I like the scent. But even if I didn't, I'd buy these because they actually kill mosquitos. Be prepared with tissues to scoop up dead mosquitos.
