These are lovely, lovely bookmarks. I have a few different sets of magnetic bookmarks because they are so incredibly useful. These are equivalent in quality (sturdiness, magnetic grip, size) as any of my others. These however, have a nice smooth matte finish that is lovely to touch. That may sound silly to fuss over that for a bookmark, but I am very sensitive to texture and like the feeling of these over my other bookmarks that have a very fine canvas texture. The floral print is charming as well. If you have used magnetic bookmarks before, I think you'll be very happy with these. If you have not used magnetic bookmarks before, I'll explain why I like them. If you have a project where you are needing to work with multiple references, it is great to have a card of these handy and mark off the multiple places you need in each book. This is especially nice if you are reading a book with endnotes, because you can use one to mark the endnotes and another to mark your place in the main text and easily flip back and forth without dropping your bookmark. You can use them like some people use post-it notes, except these will stay put! They are great for marking out recipes in cookbooks as well. I have a collection of old cookbooks with pages damaged from rusty paperclips. These are so much better in that regard. And modern cookbooks are often gorgeous, many can be read as cooking journals or histories, so it's nice to have beautiful book marks to go with it and leave one behind at the recipes I want to try. I attached a picture from a new cookbook to demonstrate, but colored over the text to make sure I wasn't violating copyright (sorry, it uglies it up a bit). But you can see the joyful colors in the book and how sweet it is to add a floral magnetic bookmark to mark your spot.
