It started as a joke...

Okay It's become a joke, people posing their dogs (especially Alabai) with big gold chains- I thought it was hysterical to get one and put it on an Alabai Puppy... After that though, the laughs just kept going- the puppies grew, and so do the size of the crazy gold chains I can put on one in a picture! I hope no one actually thinks people walk their dogs with a 'collar' like this, but I also have to laugh in a good way, the way that dogs tolerate us humans and our need to play dress up with our pets. This chain has been the BEST for this purpose, because it's light but strong, and has one link to connect/close the chain, giving it a very 'human jewelry' like quality. I really enjoyed the photo-ops with this, and I think I will pass it on to a friend who does photography, because it's the best photo-prop I think i've ever gotten. So fun!

This is a very nice looking chain. And it has a well made clasp. Perfect if you want your pet to look special.

Not something your dog can really wear all the time, but it looks cute for photos. The clip is a little stiff, which made putting on and taking off a little more difficult than it should be.

Nice Enough But Has A Costume-y Look~~~~

Shiny and pretty. Links are the type that would be easy to remove and add back to customize this chain collar for your pet. Not loving the spring hinge closure. I feel like this will wear out over time if you take it on and off repeatedly. Looks okay but definitely not high quality. You get what you pay for. Looks very costume-y like something you would put on your pet for cosplay. But in all reality this is supposed to be decorative and not really functional, so it works for that purpose.

This is such a cool collar/necklace. It really does look like a gold necklace, rather than just a chain with basic rings. The gold plating looks great and it's consistent on all of the links. It's certainly not a collar, but it's a great piece of jewelry for the pup to look flashy in.
