Works in any weather and durable. Only wish it was a tiny bit thinner at the grip where you write but other than that its a nice pen.

They look nice but you can tell they're kinda cheap and I actually just dropped one today and the ink cartridge broke.... I mean it's cool looking and it functions but it's kinda blah I really wasn't expecting much but they are a nice pen for a conversation piece

Great value! This is a great tactical pen! The only thing to note is the "open" for using the pen is the tightest turn setting, meaning unless you wish to carry an open pen in your pocket or shirt (with ink tip exposed), you have to leave the pen in a semi-untightened turn state which slowly unwinds more and more. This also is the case for the glassbreaker end, which is the striking end for this tool given it's sharpness. This end too is a bit too easy to loosen and slowly does so on its own. Not a huge deal, but if the totally closed setting was the 'pen not in use' setting, this would make so much more sense to me. Striking with this pen requires a different ice pick grip than others too, as the thump must use the pen side to stabilize and strike with the glassbreaker end.

Bought this originally for my wife but since it came with two, I leave mine in my car. Its very discreet and it just looks like a cool pen but be careful you dont accidentally poke yourself because the other side is very sharp. We did test this pen out and it writes smoothly and looks pretty cool. It makes me feel comfortable knowing my wife always keeps this with her when shes walking late at night to her car after work. The sharp side is also a great thing to have just in case you get into a car accident and end up under water. (Maybe its just in the movies, but its a pretty good scenario) you do need to have a little force when it comes to using this tactical pen to break glass, but it will definitely break glass! We tested this item on an old glass table and after two hits, the glass shattered! Overall a great pen and a great tactical item to have for defense reasons or to break some glass!
