Markers were dry and useless. Otherwise this would be a decent product.

I homeschool my two younger daughters, and we use whiteboards a lot. I'm always looking for ways to cut down on waste and I had seen these sort of portfolio whiteboard folders before and thought they were so cool, so I went ahead and jumped at these when I saw that I could get them each one in this set. The outside of the "folder" is SUPER soft- almost like a smoother suede texture. There's also a bit of a stiffness to the binding/fold so that if you have writing on both sides, you don't have to worry so much that the whiteboards are going to smear into each other. It also allows for space for the markers to be slid into the fold so everything is together. I really appreciated that the whiteboards came with a transparent film on them to protect them, as well as the cleaning cloths. But I was very pleasantly surprised with the dry erase markers that came with them- I know they exist but I actually have never used a fine point dry erase marker and I think they're absolutely perfect for this size of whiteboard. The dry erase boards appear to be super thin rather than a cardboard that is whiteboard on the outside (which is a lot of what I see at this size, and they're very easy to dent!), and very firmly attached to the inside. These are perfect for learning time- my kids are using these for everything. From math and ELA to handwriting practice, and yes, some doodling, these are getting so much use. We have dry erase boards that we use throughout the day but having these with fine-pointed dry erase markers helps to cut down on paper usage as well. We're always trying to find ways to reduce waste and reuse/rethink things, so being able to use these has been super convenient for them. I knew that they'd be a good pick and I know I'm going to be getting more. I'll probably end up grabbing a couple to carry around in my bag, too! Very highly recommend these for anyone who has a need for dry erase boards, but especially for homeschooling. They've been a great tool for my girls! The price is great for two dry erease "portfolios" of this quality, along with the dry erase markers and cleaning cloths.

I ordered this item to be used with our homeschool curriculum for my second and third graders. Its a good option for homeschooling on the go or anytime we dont want to be stuck at a table while learning. I like that it comes with markers and cloths to erase. I wish that the white boards on the inside were one continuous piece instead of two smaller boards, but I think it will do what we need fine as is.
