Adapter cable did not have an attached dc7909 plug as described. Anderson and xt60 were correct, but the third plug required included adapto, in order to use with a dc7909 jack.

I have a solar setup where I need several of these connectors. These are high quality (for my needs) and worked as expected!

This cable is excellent for getting my solar system set up... it plugs into my solar panel perfectly! It is versatile as there are three different connections on the other end of it to plug into various types of charge controllers or even a solar generator. The cable is thick and high quality. I am satisfied with this cable, and I highly recommend it! It's an excellent value for the money.

This is a well-made versatile adapter for connecting solar panels to a variety of solar generators (battery banks) or charge-controllers. I have permanently mounted solar panels to the roof rack of a Jeep, as well as to the rack on an overland trailer. Those panel setups are hard-wired to each vehicle's solar charge controller. However, I often also use separate portable solar panels, set up on the groundfor instance, if I've parked my rooftop panels in the shade, or if I need to supplement with additional capacity. For these sorts of ad hoc situations, it's useful to be able to feed power to a range of atypical destinations, such as a friend's vehicle or portable solar generator. That's when a choice of connector-types is handy. On the solar-panel side of this adapter are positive and negative MC4 connectors (and fortunately, the female MC4 has the newer and easier squeeze-to-disconnect wings). On the output side: an Anderson PowerPole (the 30-amp size), XT60 female, and 7.9mm x 0.9mm DC (DC7909) coaxial male connectors. These three cover any input I am likely to encounter, from Goal Zero to EcoFlow to Jackery to Anker. Since all the positives and all the negatives are internally wired together, the cable can be used to adapt between any combination of the four connector types (not just from MC4). That's a big plus. Total cable length is 10 feet, with tinned pure-copper conductors (12-gauge from the MC4 connectors to the output splitter, then stepped down to 16-gauge for the short run to each of the three outputs). The cable insulation, which is water- and dust-proof and UV-resistant, feels robust, and is quite flexible. I'm really happy with this order, and pleased to recommend it for your use.

I have 4 different brands of portable power stations and need all three kinds of connectors to charge them with my Coleman solar panel. (My sister has a power station with a different, smaller connector that this one didn't fit so do check to make sure yours is covered.) I didn't want the bulk and annoyance of having to carry around a million different adaptors so finding this cable was a godsend. The cord is a nice heavyweight gauge and feels solidly built. All of the connector ends fit securely in their respective ports and I haven't had any issues with them unexpectedly disconnecting or anything. I like that the 10-foot length allows me flexibility in positioning the panel in case I have to get creative to reach enough sunlight. It's overall a great piece of gear to have in your kit.
