This order came with 3 containers. They can hold some pills, not a lot. There's only enough space for 2 ear plugs.

I wanted to make sure I had earplugs on my person when I'm in loud environments, so I bought these to attach them to a zipper on my jacket. I love these because they're cheap enough that I'm not worried about them accidentally unscrewing it being lost --i can always replace it. That's a great value. Meanwhile, the key ring means I can all but guarantee these are always where I want them to be. (As opposed to keeping it loose in a pocket, where I'll eventually set it down somewhere other than right back in my pocket.) I have narrow earplugs, and they fit just fine with room to spare. 10/10. (Each of the three comes with an o-ring to dampen vibration and keep out water. And the set comes with multiple spares!! Excellent value. and customer care. )

I use these at work to hold a pair of foam ear plugs and they are perfect for that. They would also hold a few standard matches, or a few pills (about 5 caplets or 10 tablets). They are water tight and will float as long as there is some air inside but be aware that if you wear them clipped to your belt the agitation from walking and general daily movements will eventually cause them to unscrew themselves. This is only a problem if you are carrying it around without using the contents regularly, or if you were doing something strenuous such as hiking.

Nice holder that comes with ring replacements. I bought this for my orang foam earplugs, they do not fit. They are too big and if you compress and put them inside you have to dig them out as they get stuck haha.. So use the narrowest ear plugs you have. I have the orange ones that flare out. This does look nice and it is waterproof. So it will hold a couple of Tylenol easily.

I was planning on using this to store ear plugs anyway, so when the ad stated in several spots that it came with foam earplugs I figured 2 birds with one stone. They arrived in fine shape, and seem to work great; However, it is worth noting they did not come with the mentioned 3 pairs of foam earplugs.
