A useful kit that includes a good amount of the odd size of tubing required for these solar powered drip systems. Also included is a tank filter, a check valve, 15 T's and 15 emitters. This seems like an excellent value for items that are probably next to impossible to go out and find by individual pieces. It's too bad they didn't include the tank end of the water level sensor but can't have everything. It's a good kit. I like it and recommend it.

In order to have it working optimally, you need to push the tubing completely in the watering spike that insert into the soil, otherwise it will not drop correctly. However pushing it completely in is a challenge, you would need to have a low heat gun like hair dryer or put the tubing in really warm water in order to insert it a little bit easier. Other than that, this system work as expected with the fine screen filter any debris that would clog the watering spike. Any small debris would clog the watering system stick, so be real careful to always use the fine filter screen to pump the water. I got the expansion set, and I can use this with any water pump that have at least above 15psi pressure will work fine.

The concept of using solar power pump to water potted plants is fantastic and, would be a 5-star rating (if it worked). Sadly, the solar pump I received failed to work no matter what I tried. The battery was charged to full capacity using a USB cord and, while the power came on and programming was relatively easy, no matter what I tried it will not pump water from a reservoir, either automatically as programmed or manually. The kit included a generous amount of very flexible tubing and, 15 emitters and T fittings but, the solar pump appears to have been a used product as the solar screen showed signs of outdoor usage and, the back of the pump showed multiple scratches and gouges from use. I have a drip irrigation system using one zone of my irrigation system but, I could not use that for my potted plants since even when using drip emitters of .5gallons per hour, it would overwater my pots or, if set to a shorter time, underwater my garden. I therefore really wanted this to work for my porch plants, to alleviate hand watering them. Sadly, this particular solar pump was faulty and does not work. While it is possible this is a "one-off" where a mistake was made in shipping and yes, sometimes some products are faulty but, it seems there is a quality assurance issue and since the product I received does not do what it is intended, I must rate this poorly. If this were simply the expansion kit containing the tubing and emitters for $10 I would rate this as a 4-star since the tubing and emitters are of good quality and, instead of dripping water on top of the soil it does help to ensure the water is deposited deeper into the soil. I did try to connect this with my drip irrigation zone to test the accessories and they do work. However, the emitters do not seem to have a "flow control" to limit the amount of water they emit. With increasing pressure, they emitted more water and, I did notice that the emitters on the end of the run emitted less than those at the beginning.

I have plants on the railing in front of my apartment. There are several herbs, two cabbage plants, a jalapeo, and two tomato plants that need watering. I was lugging a 5-gallon water jug filled with 2 gallons of water to water them every night. It was a PITA! I left the jug outside with a funnel to fill it as needed. My fingers are sore from putting together the little t-joints and tubing. But my plants seem happy and will get watered on time every day for 5 minutes. I like that the battery is solar-powered but can also be charged with a USB-C cable if there isn't enough sun.

Read the descriptions and be sure the correct item is selected. Thought I had chosen the entire drip irrigation system but received the extension set only....Curious about this, but no fault placed. The fittings and tubing are much smaller than anticipated. I thought it could match am existing 1/4" system but as you can see, their fitting is much smaller. Seems like it would be ok for small coverage given the small diameter tubing and depending on how long the system will be able to pump from the solar power.
