If you are doing any DIY project with roses, definitely buy this! Highly recommend and made it so much easier to get rid of the thorns and leaves.

I absolutely am in love with this toolkit. I have roses and hydrangea which I love to bring into the house. In the past I've stayed outside much longer than I actually wanted to as I pulled leaves off and made bouquets for myself as well as my neighbors. Now that I have this toolkit making arrangements it's so much quicker than ever before. I can quickly remove the leaves as well as thorns and place my arrangements in water and I am done. This toolkit is such a great value and will make such a great gift for any gardener new or experienced.

We decided to take a grown-up risk this year and try our hand at planting roses outside. Our first season has had mixed results, and we'll continue working on it, but in the meantime, having this sweet little tool set made it even more fun to harvest a few awesome blooms. The gloves, if compared to winter gloves, are size approximately the same as a men's medium, which is great for us, but might be too large for someone with particularly small hands. We have used the shears not only on the roses but also in harvesting basil and mint leaves. You don't HAVE TO use them, but with their cute, chunky handles and thick blades, they're fun and easy to use. We haven't done any thorn stripping: we just really didn't need to. (Is that for making boutonnieres or something? I'm not sure why we would do that.) So I can't speak to the usefulness of that. But the small flower-shaped strippers could actually be useful as jar openers for small jars (like hot sauce or mustard or something). Overall, we found this to be a good value set of tools for our new gardening efforts.
