Exactly what I needed. AA rechargeable replacement batteries for solar pathway lights.

They work perfectly. My solar pathway lights have been bought over the period of the last 5 years. Recently the earliest purchased lights have begun getting dimmer & dimmer. I found the batteries in the hopes this would fix the problem. As you can see by the pictures they work just fine. Given that these particular lamps are much pricier now than when purchased, just replacing the batteries made more sense. Common sense prevails!

900mAh for solar lights

Most of my outdoor solar path lights came with 600mAh AA batteries. After the couple years, the batteries are not lasting as long as when they were new. These 900mAh batteries should keep the path lights lit for longer each night, since there is more capacity, as long as there is enough sunlight to recharge them fully in a day. I charged them up in a recharger to start with. Each battery came with about a 30% charge, which is how it should be. So each battery received about 600mAh of energy during the initial charge. Contrary to one reviewer here, that does not mean the battery only holds 600mAh, it just means that's the additional power it received in the charge (unless they really did do a 'discharge test' on them). To actually measure the mAh capacity of a battery, you would have to connect it to a circuit with a measured resistance and then time how long it takes for the battery to fully drain while under that load. There's a pretty good explanation and demonstration of this if you search YT for "Testing Ebay Battery Capacity - How to test mAh of a battery cell." So, I will assume that these batteries really do hold 900mAh of energy and am happy with the extended time of use over the original 600mAh batteries.

Very normal 1.2v NIMH batteries.

These are AA batteries and so far they just work. Make sure your devices don't need 1.5 volt but otherwise they work just fine. Will report back if they have longevity issues.

I have a bunch of those little solar lights in my front yard. It turns out the batteries in those are AA! Who would have thunk it. The solar panel is old and broken on some of the lights. Several of the non-working lights looked just fine. I figured I'd try new batteries in them. It turns out these batteries brought them back to life! The price on these is so low. They are completely worth it. The lights were cheap to begin with but throwing them out when they still had potential for life felt wrong to me. They are shining again. I'm really happy with these.
