Lithium < Alkaline

Ordered these for remotes & electronic devices. Should get longer lasting time with the lithium compared to alkaline but Ill find out for sure. They are expensive but if they last as long as noted itll be fine with me. Come in nice small packaging which will make for easy storage

10 Year shelf life

The storage time for this is quite impressive, being 10 years. Lithium batteries are starting to become more common these days. They provide more power and you can store them for a much longer period of time. These are perfect to have around for in case of emergencies or just for your everyday items like a remote.

Worked as advertised!

These DURNERGY AAA Lithium Batteries worked as well if not better than the name brand batteries. I've been using them in my digital camera and they are still going strong!

Excellent quality for a good price

DURNERGY AAA Batteries 8 Pack 1.5V These are not rechargeable. The major advantage of lithium is the amazing shelf life when compared to batteries of different chemistry. There are reports of storage life 5 or 6 times that of an alkaline battery. This means that when that emergency flashlight is needed, it will be charged, and ready to go. Another advantage of lithium is tolerance for cold. If lithium batteries are used in a weather station in a cold climate for example, they should supply sufficient power for the station to operate properly. These batteries are suitable for slow drain applications such as battery driven clocks, as well as flashlights or toy remote controls. DURNERGY batteries have high capacity, with a mAh rating of 1200 mAh. This capacity compares to the best AAA brand names on the market, but the DURNERGY battery is better for cost. They label this battery as a Li-Fe battery, maybe more properly labeled Li-Fe PO4, which is the best available for a battery that does not cause a risk to the environment. Unlike alkaline batteries these batteries can be disposed of in the normal trash without causing environmental harm. The quality of construction is high. No evidence of corrosion or gas leakage should ever show on a lithium battery, because they do not use liquid electrolyte. The cover of the battery is well aligned, with a smooth joint, and even spacing at the top and bottom of the battery. Lower quality batteries usually have a rough patch on the top and bottom of the battery where the cover edges are. These batteries are totally smooth on the top and bottom, which is an indication of care by the manufacturer to create better quality. I would recommend the DURNERGY batteries for quality of construction and value for money.

A bit pricy - quality yet to be proven over time

Got these batteries for some of the older electric items I have that still require regular AAA batteries, such as a headlamp, a mosquito zapper, and a number of small clocks. Batteries in these items last a long time but occasionally they still need to be replaced so it's good to have some on hand. These batteries have a stated shelf life of 10 years (on product page only, not printed anywhere on the packaging) so would be good as backups - how long they will actually last unused or used remains to be seen so will update when they've been put through the test of time. They are a bit on the pricy side at $17 so hopefully the quality will justify the cost.
