Pretty clever once you work out the assembly instructions - this is packaged flat with instructions, 6 panels, fasteners, optional suction cup and hanger arms. Acrylic, sturdy. I would purchase again : )

It was easy to put together. Needed for a bullied fish. Kept fish in the isolation box for a few weeks with a tube to hide in. Gave the bullied fish time to recover and gain confidence. Box stayed together but I can see the need to replace the tiny rubber bands that hold it together before using it again. It worked and the price is reasonable.

You gotta put it together with the rubber bands. If you accidentally bump into it or frequently use it, the wonky height adjusters may become uneven and you'll have to readjust. The holes are small, BUT not small enough to keep Corydora eggs. The holes are divited (like a cone almost) and the eggs can get stuck in them. I'd recommend buying a net container instead. A net container allows for better water flow, as well. The perk of this is that is looks neat and will remain sturdy if you never open and close it much.

It was a pain the peel the protective paper off. But rather it be protected than scratched up or broken. The directions SUCK, but i Put them all together (I ordered 3) and I needed them to temporarily hold my adult neocaridina shrimp. They couldn't even do that. They are so janky that the shrimp could slip out, but they are so small I don't even know what fish you would be able to out in there without I getting out. They are absolutely pointless. I would return but it says I need to disassemble and return in original packaging and I threw all the packaging away also disassembling them would be hard since the little o-rings are pretty much seeded in place.

This is a great little box for your fish. It's made of acrylic, which can break under a lot of pressure, so be careful. You assemble it together with the little rubber bands that came with the box. It's perfectly clear, sturdy, and the suction cup has great suction. It was the perfect size for my betta to have a bit of room to chill while he gets fed separately from the rest of the tank. (He's a little pig!) The holes in the box make it easy for water to flow through. Overall, very happy with the box.
