Nice little tripod. Sturdy and you can raise and lower to a point. Doesnt tilt at all tho, you will need some sort of gimbal and then a mount for your device. This easily holds my iPad steady and feels like it will last.

I ordered this for use with my Insta360 One R camera. I was very happy with the quality of this tripod. It pairs well with the Insta360 selfie stick. Has a nice weight to it without being a burden while adding 7" in length collapsed. Some people complain that it has no tilt capability....that's what a ball head is for. I am looking forward to getting out to the theme parks to try it out in the real world. The legs have a slot (about 1".) machined through the side them as well as a threaded hole (1/4-28) drilled in each top. I think you could stake them through the holes to make it super stable on soft ground or use velcro straps through the slots to strap it to an object or some weights. I can attach a threaded lanyard to it, if I use it as a handle. It is adjustable in height at a loss of stability, by turning a threaded collar. The cool part is the rubber pads on the bottom of the legs take that into account, so you always have a rubber contact patch. I think for the money....it's well worth it.

This thing didn't cost enough for me to go through the trouble of returning it but if you're used to a flexible tripod that gives you all sorts of angles and ways to move a camera or a phone this is not the tripod for you. The top of this thing is completely inflexible not what I envisioned at all I should have looked at this way more closely before I bought it this is just going in a drawer probably never ever to be used. Basically the only option you have with this silly stupid tripod is up or down. A total waste in my opinion.

This is perfect for some looking to be mobile and take stable shots and video. Works great!
