I really like this magnetic palette. It's my first one. Chances are that you probably already have heard of how much more flexible your makeup artistry options are if you're looking for a case. The possibilities are endless! I got the 5.72" x 5.98" large case, and it's indeed as large as the listing describes it to be. The bottom is magnetic and the case is black and frosted-clear plastic. You get 40 magnetic stickers with 3m adhesive. Before buying this I tried to go 'cheap' and bought magnetic tape locally, and used it on the bottom of my shadow pans. That didn't work at all, so I was really relieved when I got this palette with the included stickers. The stickers themselves are very thin sheets of metal with an attractive electric-blue finish. You don't see that finish unless you're removing the pan and looking at the underside, but it's still nicely done. The square pieces are 17 x 14mm and the circular ones are 25mm. The action of the lid is smooth, with your traditional fingernail-ridge space in the center rim of the case to open it. The magnetic interior is strong and holds the makeup pans firmly. It's a great starting point for customizing your own palette, regardless of your age, and it also condenses *a lot* of your makeup artistry items in your kit/bag/pouch/etc. That makes it a lot easier to travel with too if you're on the go for client meetings and so on, or even if you're a student and slide it into your book bag. I don't know how shatter-proof this case is if you drop it, so if you decide to do a break-test on this, let me know ;) Overall, I really enjoy this and I've just gotten it. As you can see in the photos I took, that's an 8-pack of Profusion's "Electric Blues". The rest are Ucanbe roses and some Ulta stuff. If you're particular about how you lay your colors out versus how they arrive in cardboard packaging and/or just get flat-out tired of the default palette getting dirty, this is a sweet, clean alternative. The listing claims you can place up to 25 1-inch pans in their system, and given the sizing I just played with with my own pans, I believe they're accurate about that. I could have basically said "There's nothing not to like about this palette so just get it already, you won't regret it" but I had to elaborate because this product deserves the details. :) The inclusion of the stickers is great, the customizability and the dimensions of this palette are great, and you're missing out if you don't get this. This makeup palette/case is great for downsizing larger ones (like I did) or for putting together lots of individual items. Honestly, the hardest part about this was getting the makeup out of its original packaging. The size is pretty great. It is about the size of a phone in length and width and is slim in depth. I had no issues putting in Urban Decay eyeshadows and then closing the lid. It comes with both small rectangular and larger circular adhesive magnets, slightly smaller than the shadows in the image. However, as the ones I placed were already in metal tins, I didnt have to use them. Even without the magnets, the eyeshadows dont slide around if I move the case, as the base is magnetic. I think they would slide if jerked around roughly, or in a suit case, so I do plan on putting them on for all of them. This palette makes for a great way to reduce purchase packaging and reusing makeup that might be in damaged or large packing already. I could easily fit over a dozen shades already with plenty of space. If I rearrangewhich the magnets let me doI can fit twice as many colors or add other types of makeup for a full to-go case. This is definitely going to let me use some of my most beautiful colors but couldnt use often because they were in such a bulky decorative case (which will now be decor elsewhere in my home)

I was looking for palettes that I could depot my dozens of eyeshadows into as I am a traveling MUA and always looking to lighten the load on my back/shoulders. I bought 3 palettes for blushes, bronzers and eyeshadows and I am truly happy with this purchase. I ended up fitting about 6 fenty bronzers + 4 Julia's place bronzers onto 1 XL palette and about 25 eyeshadow squares onto another. The magnets definitely hold the product down, and as a little hack, I used the bubble wrap and cut it into the shape of the lid so when I close the lid, there is a layer protecting my product from breaking up. I travel from state to state doing makeup and this palette has been a life saver!

I really like this magnetic case. I'm building a collection of nice makeup, and this is going to be a lovely option for single pans, to gather them up in one place. I've been shying away from buying single pans of eyeshadows and blushes because I didn't want to have to carry around a whole bunch of different things. I also have one collection of makeup in a case where I only like a few of them. They're in metal pens, so now I can pry them out and put them in this case instead and toss the ones I don't like. The magnetic stickers are a nice option. I haven't had to use them yet but it's nice to have them in case I find something in a plastic pan that I want to put in this case. The case closes securely, yet is easy to open. Haven't dropped it yet, so I can't report on how break resistant it is. LOL. I would definitely recommend this!

I own a few XL magnetic containers by Make Up Forever. I like that the lid on these are transparent. The first few I purchased by that other brand were solid, which I didn't love because I couldn't see the eyeshadows. These were easy to use and the lid locked nicely.
