The vr headphone sound is just fine/OK. The headphone holders are what makes these a winner at $14. The cords feel nicer than they are, molded with texture to emulate braided material. I like that.

These ear buds sound very good. They come in a nice and handy case. The ear bud holders keep the ear buds from just dangling off the head set, which is pretty useful. Also comes with different size ear pieces for better comfort. Well worth the price.

Okay, so keep in mind these are NOT full blown/noise cancelling earphones. That being said, they are a good upgrade for the Quest 2 to prolong the life of the built-in sound. The quality is very good! They are clear with nicely projected lows and highs, fit comfortably in your ear canals, and the cord is a great length. To top it off, they proved these fantastic little holders for the sides of you Q2 strap that hold the buds when not in use. If you watch their included video, you will see a suggested way to thread the cord to keep it out of your way. I'm currently using this with my Halo strap, and it still works great. Recommended!

For the price of these earbuds you really can't go wrong. They sound way better than the original Quest 2 speakers. I play Beat Saber a lot and this made a world of difference for me. Just make sure the earbuds are snug in your ears. I noticed if you don't get them in your ears correctly they don't have good sound, they seem to lose all the bass when not in your ears correctly. In large part, these earbuds are exactly what it says on the tin: Earbuds with a shorter cable meant to attach to the Quest 2. And in that regard, they do fairly well. The left ear is on a shorter lead, because it's on the same side as the headphone jack. The right ear is longer, but in my experience, not quite long enough to wrap around behind my neck. And that's one of the reasons I can't go so far as giving it five stars. The sound quality is good, especially considering the price, but it's not world-shattering either. Noise isolation is good, but it doesn't have any active cancellation features built in. It also lacks a microphone, so you still use the Quest's existing microphone. The little rubber headphone holders work quite well, though my case doesn't fit the headset with the headphones attached, so I have to use the case it came with. Fortunately, that case is a high point. it's very well made, and large enough for me to stuff the stock charging cable along with a few microfiber lens cloths in there along with the earbuds.
