I used to use flexible air stones when I was growing in the Bronx from 2005 to 2010. When I started growing again, I wanted to use the same type flexible air stones. I got about 10 of these over 3 different orders. I returned the last order of 4. The other 4 that I was using clogged up and wasn't allowing air to flow. I thought it could be the pump being faulty, the roots blocking the flow, etc. Of course, the last thought was the flexible air stones being bad. They worked so well, at first. As I pulled apart my roots (last thing I wanted to do) to get it and test it alone, it was just bad. Air was barely getting through. Bubbles were coming from just a few slits but barely. I used one of my bigger air pumps, same thing. I got about 5 weeks left of flower. I went back to using cylinder air stones. Things have been good. But, this is not the experience I had with these tyoes of flexible air stones over a decade ago.

I have these in all my tanks. Buy them, you won't be disappointed.

We purchased this air wand/tube for a paddletail newt aquarium for a wall-of-bubbles effect in the back. It works well for the first few weeks, producing tons of bubbles easily. Eventually, it gets clogged with algae and grim, and produces fewer and fewer bubbles. You cannot disassemble it to fully blow out the clogs. It's seals on one end and has a air tube adapter on the other. It also whistles and makes little laser beam sounds as it gets clogged, which'll slowly drive you mad! I tried using my air compressor tool to blow out the clogs but given it's design, it didn't help at all.

It works well and not very expensive

Sadly, these didn't produce air bubbles through three quarters of the tubing. Save your money.
