I had my doubts when I first bought these after reading reviews, seeing the price and then when I received them. I ordered them because I just didn't want to spend big money for a simple pair of gaiters But after hiking over 20 miles so far with them in mud, deep snow, brush, gravel, rocks and all sorts or rough terrain... they are fantastic. I've only have the locking foot strap come undone once I think that was due to me not fastening it all the way the first time. I have not had to readjust while out on the trail nor I have been had them get caught up in brush. I wear barefoot shoes which by themselves funnel all debri right into the shoe. With these gaiters nothing. No mud, snow water rocks , pine needles or sticks join my feet in the shoe. I do wish the that part the goes around the top of the shoe was adjustable as it just seems too large and not tight fitting to the shoe. But like I said nothing joins my feet anymore so much guess it just a looks thing as they do their job and well at that.

I've been using these Azarxis Low Trail Gaiters on most of my mountain and woods hikes for the past couple years (3-9 hikes/year, all seasons). Pros: 1) They do indeed keep dirt and such out, which was my primary reason for buying them. 2) I don't notice them on (aside from them not staying clipped). 3) Easy to put on and take off. 4) I like the little hook that keeps the gaiters attached to my shoe even if the strap doesn't stay clipped. Cons: 1) The straps that go under the boot don't stay in the clip for more than a few miles, so I have to keep on adjusting them. 2) After these few years, the rubber strap is definitely getting ripped up (though still works).

I finally got fed up with all the pebbles and bits of leaves that somehow worked themselves into my boots during a hike. I was so happy to find these ankle gaiters. No more taking off my shoe! Its also easy to wash and dries quickly. I did have a learning curve in the sequence of putting on my socks , then gaiters, then boots, and remembering which end the gaiter clips should be. Worked well for our hiking trip on the TMB.

I bought these because I kept getting gravel and turf in my hiking boots. I was skeptical that they would fix the problem, and even more skeptical because the reviews about fit are mixed. However, I've been pleasantly surprised -- these gaiters rock!!! I've worn them over my hiking boots (Merrell men's size 7) and my sneakers (Asics women's size 8.5), and they fit well in both cases. They kept rocks and dirt out of my boots while hiking, and they kept annoying turf out of my sneakers at a music festival. These are especially good if you have large feet and narrow ankles. I always have some looseness around my ankle, and that allows debris to get into my shoes. These cover the problem area, which means no more annoying particles in my shoes! If you're on the fence, get them and try them out. I'm so glad that I did!

These work amazing to keep the grass out of your shoes. Iv been using these for years (not this one pair but boot gaiters in general) I never do yards without them. Nothing more annoying then having to clean grass out of your shoes. especially after scalping a yard. If you do lawncare.. get these. Iv used this brand for an entire season so far. Straps hold up but do come off every now and then and i have to reinsert into strap on side. could use a better heavier strap clamp. straps themselves start to wear slightly but mine are still together. will need a new pair for next year as they will not last.. i do over 50 yards a week,. so do keep that in mind. im always moving around.
