This product smells and feels like pure lavender oil. I like the applicator, but it was a struggle to get it opened up because there was a tape seal under the roll on cap. I had trouble getting the cap off to remove the seal. I do think this product smells/feels like it is a 100% lavender oil, but there are no clear testing indicators or other information about it. If I wasn't already familiar with pure lavender oil I wouldn't be so sure, but it seems like the real deal based on my past experience. I think this is a fairly good product, and if you're looking for a roll on applicator this might be a good choice for you. If you don't need a roll on applicator, there may be other choices that would be more appropriate.

Lavender is one of my favorite essential oil scents-- so clean smelling and calming. This roll-on did not disappoint. It is very fragrant and long lasting. I like applying it on my wrists, neck, and temples and getting whiffs of it all day long. The oil didn't not cause any irritation on my skin like some other essential oils I've tried in the past. Great product!

This lavender oil smells great! I love that it is in a roll-on applicator. To me, that means no waste. Nothing lost on your fingers only to be washed off. Nothing atomized in the air to only float away and settle in a million different little places. I know this should be applied to my pulse points, so I dabbed the inside of each wrist and then rubbed the lavender oil sides together. After my wrists, a dab behind each ear, just because. As strong as it smelled to me, not a single person made any comment about it, either for or against. That really surprised me. The only thing the manufacturer should know about it is that (I believe) most people have never had to open this type of bottle to remove the plastic that keeps it safe during shipping. (It took me a while to figure out first what needed to be done, second how to do it and lastly what tools I would need to complete such a small task. Only because I am so awe-struck with this Lavender Oil product is the reason I rate it 4 stars. Normally I would not give such a high rating with no other people near me either noticing it or liking the scent, plus the difficulty in figuring out the packaging to make the roll-on work.

Yes, this has a nice lavender smell. Its a dark, glass, roll on bottle. All things I like. But as far as a few things I look for, this doesnt pass the test. It should include the Latin name of the plant, information on purity or other ingredients added to it, and the country in which the plant was grown. I could find none of that. The scent didnt last very long on my wrists either. Itd be fine to roll on a bit when going to sleep if you find the scent soothing, but this isnt what I was hoping for.

For safety reasons, this product should not be avoided. The label states it is 100% pure Therapeutic Grade Essential Oil. Therapeutic Grade is a marketing term and has no regulated meaning. Any bottle of any essential oil should state the botanical name of the oil(s) inside, and from which part of the plant (leaves, flowers, stems, etc). This one merely states Obtained through steam distillation of lavender plant. Which lavender plant? Different lavenders have different properties. Nothing on the bottle, the description, or the manufacturers website indicates these products have been subject to GC/MS testing by a third party. Those test results are the only way to ensure an essential oil bottle contains exactly what it is labeled to contain. I do not use essential oils that have not been tested and for which results are not made public. Does it smell like lavender essential oil? Yes, it does. Lavender fragrance oil also smells like lavender, but it is not the same. Smell alone is not a reliable indicator. Mine came with a piece of plastic wrap covering the oil under the roller ball and wrapped around the top. This did prevent it from leaking during travel. However, I do not like having my essential oils in contact with plastic wrap.
