Made my little guy look like a tough street dog! ;) Should last a very long time.
I love this collar! Ive had it for over 2 years now and its still in amazing condition. I live out on a ranch and my cat loves to wander outside with our German shepherd so it gives me peace of mind knowing it has spikes (and I added a loud bell) to scare off birds & coyotes. Of course Im always outside with my cat to take care of her, but sometimes she runs fast and cant keep up lol. Im glad this collar has spikes too because my German shepherd plays with her and sometimes playfully nips her neck and he always forgets she has the spike collar on so he gets shocked when it pokes his mouth haha.
This really gave my small dog grandpuppy that tough guy look and it fit him great.
the bells that came with the collar didn't last long as the cat that I bought this for plays rough with other cats. however I'm surprised that he hasn't destroyed the collar at all. I bought it a while ago and the only part that isn't still intact is the end where he chews it.
Yes its cute. For a dog or a fat cat that doesnt mind collars. My cat on the other hand definitely cant wear collars. And unfortunately this was the collar that decided that. I was at work and my husband told me my cat tried getting the collar offdespite me putting it on him super tight! Said he saw the cats jaw stuck open and passed out. As in barely breathing. Makes sense if he was struggling so much. The cat is fine now. Just no collars for him. Wish there could have been a safety slip or button that if this event happened again we could just hit the safety button to pop it off. I love the design and the collar is definitely durable. But thumbs down on a safety button or easily slip off if something happens.
