I switched to these sponges because you got more for less. They're fine if you just need a standard sponge; but if you care about skin exfoliation like I do, I believe I've used better products before that exfoliated better and lasted a little longer before they became dull. I really only plan to repurchase these items if money's a little tight, otherwise, I'll probably go back to a different type of foam sponge with a better exfoliating surface.

Great loofah sponge for showering and as exfoliation goes it's not harsh as others, but exfoliating shouldn't be harsh. Any sponge should effectively exfoliate when showering daily. These sponges arrive as flattened disks and vacuum sealed. It's cool to throw it in water and watch it expand to its size, almost 3"! I like that I can hang it to dry after use too. You get a 5 pack. I think these make another useful travel item in their flattened state.

It takes some minutes to get them to soak up enough water to be completely fluffed. But using them is really nice. There is just enough roughness to softness ration to feel like you're getting some exfoliating, yet they aren't so tough that they are painful. They are just the right size for a handful, and the rope provides a way to keep them secure in your hand. I'm tossing the poofs, and saying hello to loofahs!

Sponges come vacuum sealed, so it takes a bit to fluff out to full potential size. I ended up running under low water and massaging slowly until it released itself from its compact state. Didn't take long, maybe a minute or so. Very absorbent and gently for daily skin cleaning. Rinses great and holds together well! Nice touch with the string so you can hang in the shower to dry in between. Also great for light cleaning around the house! Countertops and other smoother surfaces!

These came packaged vacuum sealed and extremely compressed and I was not sure what to think. They did not look very appealing at all. I ended up sticking them in water to get them to expand, which there are no instructions to do so by the way, and it took hours for them to expand and resemble anything like the product pictures. In the end they worked out but I was on the edge of 3 stars instead of 4.
