The storage tub has a pull tab that's supposed to release the lid, but it wouldn't tear loose. When it did finally tear loose, it tore a hole in the side of the tub, so so much for storing the stuff in the tub it comes in. It appears that the intention was for that tab to tear off and give access to lift the lip of the lid above, as opposed to the typical retention ring on buckets I've used, where the tab pulls a ring off the lip of the lid to allow it to be removed. Unfortunately, whatever the plastic is for the bucket doesn't allow the thin sections to break away like they should. As far as the material itself, I thought this would be a neat lightweight material for sculpting and molding, but being foam, it's compressible and springs back after pushed somewhere, so it's a battle getting a desired shape. Not what I'm looking for in a clay!

I have only used this kind of clay once before, and The Air Dry Clay for Adults Foam Clay seems similar in quality. It is packaged well. The heavy-duty ziplock plastic bag inside the tightly lidded plastic container kept the clay in soft and in perfect condition and will work well for future storage. The clay itself seems oily upon first opening the bag and touching it, but that disappears quickly. The clay is soft, light, and super pliable. I am not sure what I will use it for yet, but I made a small imprint of part of the top of a cat food lid to see how well it holds that shape and dries. It air dried overnight, making the cat head imprint permanent. The flat disk of clay is somewhat flexible rather than rigid. I can bend it into a curve, but probably not fold it without breaking it. Mine came with 3 small modeling tools that were not shown or noted in the listing. Bonus! I have better tools, but these would work well for a beginner or for travel since they are small. They arent as flimsy as they look and it is nice that they have a different head on each end, so you get 6 tools total. 5/5 Stars, great clay that I am looking forward to using for a variety of projects.

Tub is more rectangular and the clay inside cam in a sealed plastic bag to preserve it which i appreciate, this clay doesn't seem to expand as much as other foam clays so for sculpting, that's a plus.
