It is easy to use. I have used different methods of cleaning my brushes and this is my favorite one.

Its very easy to use and very effective. It made my my cleaning brushes an easy process!

First of all, this cleaner is rechargeable! Secondly, super easy one button operation. I add a couple of drops of shampoo to the water to clean the brushes and they come out very clean. Of course, results will vary depending on how dirty brushes are with caked in make-up. I'd recommend to rinse and repeat with fresh water and a drop of shampoo until the water in the cleaner remains clear. This is a way more gentle way to clean brushes than scrubbing them against brush cleaning silicone pads because it doesn't bend and break fibers/hair. Highly recommend!

Have to say, I have always washed my brushes by hand but it is time consuming, messy, and therefore not done as often as it should be. So I ordered this. It works. I was shocked at how gross the water was on the first wash cycle - and now know I really need to be more consistent in cleaning them. This tool is going to help that I think. It is not perfect, and has some oddities for sure. First, as most bathrooms have no USB port, it's rude to assume the buyer has a spare one they can dig up. Second, no cleanser product is included. The instruction says to drop the proper amount of cleaning fluid in - with no explanation of what the proper fluid is, or how much to use. I used some mild face wash with warm water an inch below the fill line (to allow for the foaming). The other items are more minor: directions not the best, the on/off switch works better if pressed to the left side of the button, and many of my facial brushes had handles that were too long/too wide to fit the holder holes (the agitation does not take long to do the job though, so holding them by hand was not a problem). I found that 2 washes with soap, then a couple rinses, did a great job. Much faster then when I hand washed them. They are all now drying on top of the unit. Did not expect to like this as much as I did, given the confusing start. Plan to use this regularly!

I didn't realize how dirty my brushes were. I used a little bit of dish soap and it cleaned them really well. For bigger brushes, I think it's a good idea to let them soak to get the middle part clean. ##Does a good job. Just as easy to put brushes in a cup of soapy water, tho.
