Waste of money just not a great product

It didnt work as I though it would. I have to hold the brushes in order for them to get cleaned and they dont clean as I was expecting to.

Cleans well. I soaked it for 15 minutes before cleaning, the dust and grease stains were removed.

Cleaned my makeup brushes really well

The media could not be loaded. Brushly automatic makeup brush cleaner comes in a cardboard box with the actual brush cleaning unit in an open, clear small bag. You also get a small grey nubby round disc, non-removable USB charging cable attached to the unit itself and a set of paper directions. The lid fits on the unit well and has a decorative silicone pattern on the top that you can place the handles of your makeup brushes through to hold them in place while cleaning. The unit itself is pretty small and compact so it doesnt take up much room. On the bottom of the unit are a couple of gray silicone pieces for grip so that when the unit is in operation it doesnt move around on the counter. No cleaning products were included with this unit. I have a similar unit that I have used previously but this makeup brush cleaner is a lot more powerful and really gets the makeup out of my brushes! I use J&J baby shampoo on my slightly dampened foundation brush and held onto it with my hand while using the brush cleaner. As you can see from my video I started out with nice clean water and by the time it was done with the cleaning cycle the water was very milky and discolored (I do clean my brushes frequently). When in use, this unit surprised me with its high powdered jets that acted similar to a blender. I think it also helps that the bottom of the cleaning unit has plastic grooves or edges that the brushes rub over to help with the cleaning. My brush turned out so clean, my other unit is much slower and doesnt have as vigorous as a cleaning cycle even though the units are similar in size and water capacity. The only down side to the unit I could find is that the lid pattern doesnt fit any of my foundation brushes since the handles are uniformly big around with a slight taper. The pattern makes it so that you cant force oversized handles through.
