I use a lot of non-refundable plastic bottles and this is a great way to save space in the recycle bin. They're easy to use and work very well.

Easy to use, quality scissors, great value. I have been using mine for a good while, and it has not needed sharpening. I pick up the scissors whenever I need a great cutting tool, not just for plastic, but for cutting of 1/2 type of insulation from the recycling of cold box shipment materials from Misfits Market. I first ordered these because I wanted to get all the expensive organic mayo from the unsqueezeable hard plastic bottle. The scissors have paid for themselves in what could have been unused condiments. I am ordering a pair of the carton scissors, for the different shape, and because I feel that this brand of scissors are inexpensive and of great quality! Oh, by the way, I have used the bottle scissors as tendon cutters to separate a whole chicken. It is safer than a knife, when I have greasy fingers from the chicken fat. I recommend these awesome scissors, with more variety of cutting tasks than labeled.

I had to think on whether I needed to spend the money for these because to save money I cut off the top 1/3 of empty 2 liter soda bottles to use as funnels. This is the only scissors I've come across that is designed to do it safely when I start. My prior methods either took more time or risk to make that first puncture. I may not be saving any dough, but it's faster, safer, and I still don't have to clean a funnel.
