My staffy and both of my cats hate having their nails trimmed. This trimmer is good for small and large pets! It is still hard to get them to sit still for nail grooming with this tool, and it is still a 2 person job for me and my boyfriend, but it is no longer impossible, which is a huge improvement! Just wish the charge lasted longer and that it was a little quieter.

Im not normally a write a review after one use person. I like to test it out, see how it lasts. But with this tool I immediately thought it was worth it. The short story: it works great, its small, quiet, and efficient. Highly recommend. The Girl Math: a nail grind in my area is $17 per dog. This product was $20 ish. I saved about $10 buying this and using it on both my dogs ONCE. Which means I save $30 each nail trim after the first use. The long story: I worked in the dog industry for about 7 years. I have cut a lot of dogs nails, and have used a lot of different products to do it. Now that i am no longer in that industry, I still have 2 large dogs that I have to cut their nails. They are AWFUL for their nail trims and I usually push it off way too long. My husband used my old grinder and forgot where he put it, I pushed off their trims too long so I needed a new one cheap and fast in case I found my expensive one. And here we are. After using this grinder Im amazed. Its the best one Ive ever used. This is the best both dogs have ever sat. I think that is largely due to how quiet this is. Both dogs are noise reactive and this is the quietest grinder Ive ever used, just a gentle buzzing you can definitely still have a conversation while its on. I like that the head is slightly concave. It seems to keep in the nail in place so you dont skip and hit their paw pad as much. It came with a safety head. I have big dogs, so I removed that, it wouldnt have worked with their nails. It is also really small and light and easy to grip and maneuver. I cant say anything about the longevity of the product. I will update if it conks out in the near future. So no update means its still going strong. Its currently June 2024. If need a cheap nail grinder this one is going to go above and beyond!

I received this product a couple day's ago. I got to use it yesterday on both my dog's and it works great. If you read the instructions carefully, it will tell you everything you need to know, and if you have long haired animals it has a warning to trim back the hair on the feet because it can get caught in the grinder. Common sense will tell you if you have long haired dogs to either tie it back or make sure the grinder is away from the coat of the dog, which some people lack common sense so hopefully the company will add to tie hair back or keep away from dogs coat to the warning...It is easy to use and easy to handle. It is quieter than other products that i used as well. Will recommend to others.

I was worried about using this at first because I didnt want to mess up and hurt my pupper, but its actually pretty easy to use. And its not super loud, which is great because loud noises and my pup dont mix well. No issues any of its uses, the grinder works well, well made, and you can work different angles as you go thanks to the design. I get her paws done quick (not including the time it takes to pin her big self under my leg or get her to stop trying to lick the grinder.)

My friend recommended this nail grinder for my dog's nails. I have been a groomer for years and never have I found a better piece of equipment for my dog's nails. I highly recommend this product. Easy to hold, not too big, love the color purple, very reasonably priced, does an excellent job on my dog's nails. It is sturdy and powerful. It has two speeds and both are powerful. I probably would not recommend it for a huge dog because you'll need something that can accommodate the large dogs nails. My dogs are a Chihuahua and a poodle. This is so quiet that my dogs actually fall asleep while I do their nails now. I highly recommend it. Don't waste your money on any other nail grinder. Go with this one. It comes in many different colors. I would get another one in your heartbeat.
