It worked fine for this particular application with the exception of having to self-furnish a couple of fasteners and washers (that should have been included in the kit) for attaching my generic MiniPC to the mounting bracket that slides into the kit's VESA monitor plate. I liked the additional built-in securing option too. Where the two mounting brackets mate at their bottom edge there's a couple of bolt holes to anchor them together. Refer to the included pics for an example of my actual installation process. I'm a certified PC technician and work on computers frequently, so I had the additionally needed hardware on hand to complete the installation. Recommended for most anyone who's wanting to mount a MiniPC to their display monitor and lacked an easy way to do it. Just be sure you have the correct and aligning mounting holes on the bottom side of your device and possibly having to supply your own fasteners and washers.

For a quick and cheap tv or monitor mount, this works decently. Unfortunately, with a 27" monitor attached to the wall this still wiggled and rattled. My office was located next to the HVAC/utility room, so the adjoining wall has a bit of harmonic vibration to it. As this has some play in it, the mount frequently rattled - so much to the point that the plate joining screws started to loosen up. Ultimately, I took this down at work and brought it home. If/when I find a use for it here, I plan to use a table wobble wedge (rubber shim) to keep it from rattling. It does work, and the loose variance between the plates made it a snap to mount and dismount. I will stick to paying twice as much for the tight-fitting name brand ones, but at this price point, it is worth the cost (just may have to use a wedge to stop the rattle).

It is a very solidly made product. Basically two solid metal VESA frames that slides into each other. What I did not realize when ordering was that it requires VESA attachment on both sides (or drilling holes). For the back of a monitor AND on the PC. Like apparently some HP PCs as shown. Calling it universal for Mini-PCs is a misnomer. As the attached photos of the box show, this is a product mainly manufactured for hanging TVs/monitors on a wall, but (mis-)stated as a Mini-PC hang. If I actually wanted to hang a TV on a wall, I think this product would be great, but for my Mini-PC, not useful at all. Only recommended if you are sure you have a Mini-PC with VESA holes in the bottom, as both the product and the included bolts are meant for, or if you merely want to hang a TV on a wall.

I'm using this to mount a mini PC to the back of my monitor to free up desk space. Mounting the bracket to the mini PC was simple and straight forward. The VESA mount on my monitor was recessed into the back plastic housing, however, and required the use of some plastic spacers that I had to borrow from another VESA arm I had that didn't need them. Beyond that hiccup, the mount is solid and does the job. I'm going to get a second to mount another mini PC behind my TV.
