No more uncomfortable or awkward finger position to reach alt and c or v. This helps you be more efficient and its very convenient. Plug and play device. In addition you can select and edit with the cut button. I cant see myself going back to the main keyboard for repetitive copy and paste task without this.

Simple device, just a tiny keyboard with 3 buttons (cut/copy/paste functions). It looks like part of the shell was 3D printed, a lone person could have fabricated this with a 3D printer and the right know-how. But its not janky, just not very premium-looking, either. It works right out of the box, it also has RGB lighting enabled by default. There is no official software for this, but you could remap the keys to some other function using third party software. A USB cable is included (the keyboard uses a USB C connector). The switches are hotswappable, 3 pin and north facing. So you could replace them with some other kind if you wish. They seem to be generic linear switches (red in color), perfectly fine for something that isnt going to be typed on like a normal keyboard. It seems to be fine for the price.

This macropad is pretty basic but after reading up on the software and reports of malware included with it, I decided to forgo the installation. Switches are hot swappable but they barely mention this feature in the photos and the basic description. They come with the usual Outemu red switches which are a very common sight with cheaper boards. They're fine but I can't speak of their longevity as I usually swap these out whenever I review a keyboard with them. The keycaps have a passable thickness to them but the legends are just plain ugly as they are stretched/squished to fit the width of the keycap so each legend for copy/paste/cut are all different sizes. They also have RGB LEDs under each switch that blink sequentially from left to right. 10 years ago I might have enjoyed RGB lights on my electronics but these days I usually turn them off. For those that couldn't care less about these features and just want the basic keyboard functions on a separate accessory, this does the job, although I'd expect the price to be lower these days for such a basic device. If you plan on configuring it, maybe think about installing the software in a sandbox or VM to avoid infecting your Windows installation with malware. It seems that some users have begun to write their own firmware for similar macropads with the same controller so that might be worth checking out. As for myself, I'll probably just keep it to display artisan keycaps until someone figures out QMK/VIA support, though that may never happen.
