OK product

Got this for work. I am constantly charging this radio. The battery does not last long like it should. I finally gave up on trying to listen to a radio at work. The cord is so short when charging it that it is in the way of my keyboard on my desk. Like to listen to AM radio and it is really hard to keep the station tuned in. Not made like the old ones in my days. Now it is just another thing that sits in the desk drawer and will be tossed in the trashed when I get tired of it in my desk drawers. It is a shame because I really like the size of it, and I can recharge the battery.

One of the better little am/fm/sw radios for the price.

I was immediately impressed with overall reception and how i was able to pull quite a few random sw stations on a clear night. Its so lightweight and small I think it will be good for travel. Headphone sound is ok. I havent tried the recording feature. I just like collecting little radio's and this one is kinda cool imo. recommend.

My low expectations were exceeded

This inexpensive radio offers a surprising amount of functionality: AM, FM, and shortwave reception; and will also play mp3 files from a micro SD card, not included (also known as a TF card). It also has a separate band for FM reception below 88 MHz, used in some areas of the world. If you're curious about shortwave, the D-328 performs well enough on shortwave to answer your curiosity. But read a few websites about what shortwave is all about first, to calibrate your expectations. PROS: Attractive glossy black plastic, solid feeling construction. Receives FM, AM and even shortwave OK for its price. Plays MP3 files in mono. Good speaker sound for its small size. Includes a rechargeable BL-5C lithium battery, and a short cable, for use with a USB charger (not included). CONS: No clock, memories, nor digital display. This means only blind stepping forward and backward through MP3 files, no text or album/playlist navigation. Most disappointing to me, no stereo through headphones, on FM or MP3. Although the speaker sound is good, it does not play loudly, but is fine for personal use in a quiet area, or through headphones or earbuds (not included). The upper end of its AM band ends at 1620 KHz, according to enclosed specs, confirmed by my testing. A bit surprising, since the North American AM band was extended to 1700 KHz over 30 years ago. Bought from ZeeBooth for the price of a sandwich and a cup of coffee, I can't complain, except that as of this writing ZeeBooth's product description DOES SAY that it plays MP3 in stereo, though it does not. This should be corrected. The product packaging does not say anything about stereo. The D-328 does what it says adequately well, though much more performance can be had in products costing about double the low price of the D-328.
