DERMAdoctor Urban Veil Anti-Pollution Potion, 1.01 Fl Oz...

I don't know, maybe I shouldn't ask too many questions but take it on faith that it combats the effect of urban pollution on my skin. I suppose one difference between this product and others is the plant stem cells they use. Apparently the stem cells produce "3rd generation antioxidants replete in phenylpropanoids to maximize skin self-defense against pollutants and free radical damage." Sounds good. I didn't know much about the possible effects of the other plant ingredients, but now I do, because they describe the effects of each one including Cranberry, Chinese Forbidden Purple Rice, Wild Pansy, and Plums. Again, sounds good. I think I would have included the forbidden purple rice just for the exotic name. All I can really tell you is that this product was fine for my sensitive skin. It feels good when I smooth it on, and absorbs well. It does then feel as if there's a barrier protecting my skin so I'll continue to use it when I'm out and about.

Nice, light scent and non-greasy feel. Will need to continue use to know how well it's working, but so far it feels like a good addition to my routine.

This is refreshing on the face and helps moisturize. It might be a barrier to pollutants, but I just use it to feel refreshed and cool. The ingredients seem natural and non-irritating.

My skin looks and feels great. Ive only been using a few days but I love it! It has a light scent of rice, which is a little off putting but no matter. Rather that than a fake floral or perfume smell. Very light and absorbent. Hasnt caused me any breakouts or skin irritation. I must say this; see the cap in the picture? I couldnt get that off FOR THE LIFE of me. Spent 45 minutes pulling and yanking and got out pliers. And still nothing. I was so frustrated I contemplated taking a hammer and just smashing it off. But I took a breath and decided to try again later. And there I used it with out the nozzle for two days. Just screwed the whole thing off lol. So frustrated with the packing but the product is great. Today when going to use it, the plastic lid just magically popped right off like it hasnt been firmly stuck for days. Anyways, love the product. That lid is the worse though lol

As a woman of a certain age I guess its time to start taking care of what Ive been given! I have pretty good skin overall, especially for an old lady of 54, but since I rarely wear makeup and avoid the sun like a good little vampire I think Ive just been blessed with good genes! Im pretty trusting but its worth noting that while the lid to the pump dispenser was securely confined in a safety seal that seal stopped short of the screw-top lid which was easily opened. Since everything looked in order I took the chance but thought it worth mentioning - a plastic wrap on the entire bottle and/or carton would go a long way to easing those concerns. The concept of protecting my skin against environmental stressors and climate change is quite appealing; I work from home so Ill mainly be using this when running errands or traveling. I always prefer a pump dispenser to the ubiquitous dropper and this one seems to work pretty well. The serum is on the thicker side with a light scent that I cant put my finger on but I want to call sweet. Its mild and doesnt seem to linger so Im okay with that. Its hard to speak to the effectiveness because skincare takes time in general and, if you're already using the active ingredient(s), its hard to notice a difference in the way you look/feel. At the same time, if its new to you/your system, it usually takes a while for any real benefits to show up. If anything changes as time goes by Ill update my review accordingly.
