Pretty good for a night guard that isn't custom fit from the dentist. I had worn down my custom night guard and needed a replacement, but the ones from the dentist are in the hundred's of dollars. I decided to give this a try and it works pretty well for an OTC night guard. The instructions were clear and it wasn't too hard to get this fitted.

I actually got these night guards for the purpose of using them as teeth whitening trays, and they work great for that purpose. Mine did not mold as closely to my teeth as the stock photos, but they will definitely work just fine for teeth whitening. They are BPA free and latex free. Made in the USA. They are great flexible trays that are comfortable to wear.

I have used custom mouth guards that cost around $300 from the dentist. This mouthguard is very cost-effective if you grind or clench your teeth and using something like this will save you a lot of money in dental repairs from broken or cracked teeth. It comes with a clear instruction booklet and I am attaching a copy. You really need to have the instruction booklet in front of you when doing this process for it to fit properly. It does come with two mouthguards in case you make a mistake, however if done correctly each mouthguard lasts a year so you would have two mouthguards for 2 years at $29.99 it's a great value. Although I'm attaching a photo of the instruction booklet, I am also attaching a couple photos of how I did the process. I took a damp paper towel and twisted it to fit it into the open area of the mouth guard. I then went another paper towel and put it around the entire mouth guard on a paper plate. I microwaved it for 35 seconds. I do have an 1100 w microwave. The time can be adjusted based on the wattage of your microwave. Although it won't seem like it, it is easy to do and it fit perfectly. They use a material called Vista Max which is high quality and makes it very comfortable to wear. Overall a must product for anyone that clenches or grinds their teeth. Do not underestimate how much damage you can do to your teeth if you do not have a mouthguard.

My dentist talked me into an expensive fitted bite guard because I grind my teeth horribly. Over the years I ground my way through it until it split in half over the molars on both sides. My dental insurance only covers one bite guard in a lifetime, even when you switch employers/insurance coverage. The dentist office wanted a couple of hundred dollars to repair the one I had so I have been using OTC brands. Of all the bite guards I've tried, I like this one the best, and it fits most like the professional fit guard. Just be sure to pay close attention and follow the directions. Don't bite down too hard with your molars as you are forming it to your teeth or that area won't be thick enough to protect properly. (Voice of experience.) Update: By repeating steps 1-3 I was able to reform it to thicken the back part. I repeated all the steps and have a perfect fit that is now thicker between my molars. I usually wake up with a dry mouth several times at night. With this bite guard my mouth didn't dry out. I gave an overall 5-star rating because of this.

If you grind your teeth at night, like purple design, then these 2 guards are an excellent choice. Vert well wrapped, very detailed, clear instructions, which are very helpful and appreciated. I use these and like them. Oh, and it arrived quickly too. 5 stars.
